A little over a year ago, a pandemic was declared due to the so-called COVID-19 virus. This virus took society by surprise and among many extreme measures taken to protect the health of all citizens, a total closure was forced, including schools. Hence, the implementation of  virtual classes and distance learning became the norm. 

With the start of the new school year, we saw the arrival of “Canvas”.  This new platform went from being an education platform to becoming a permanent reminder that students are prisoners of the virtual school with constant reminders around the clock. 

As students, we know first hand how difficult this school year has been and we are tired of online classes as it is a never-ending stress for all of us. This entails endless homeworks, tiredness, and many sleepless nights, just to name a few of the reasons why we should get rid of Canvas for being an inefficient form of education. Have you ever wondered what would happen if we managed to remove this application from the App Store and Play Store. This is a question that more than one student has asked and if we work together, we can do it! 

According to the Deep Web, if all students rate Canvas as a bad application that does not work well, it could be removed from all types of devices, which would end our virtual classes. This article is a call for help to all Wilson students, if we work together we can achieve many things.

The news has spread to some parts of the world and hundreds of thousands of students in countries such as Australia, Ireland, Sweden and the Netherlands have chosen to give the application a low rating to let its creators know that it is not very efficient. The purpose of this trend is to make a change in the current educational system.

It’s easy and we can all do it, you just have to go to the App Store or Play Store depending on your device, put a rating of one star and leave a comment explaining why the application should be removed from these platforms. It is a simple procedure that will not take more than 5 minutes.
