Alyssa Velasquez is running for ASB president for her senior year position. She has been committed to ASB for all 4 years of high school.  Because of this commitment, Velasquez is confident that she has worked her way up to this significant role of ASB president.  She is comfortable with a top leadership position, as she has led groups and clubs on campus, so being able to lead the student body as a whole would be a great responsibility. Velasquez says that students should vote for her because she believes that, “equal representation is a necessity in this school,” adding that since she has experience planning beneficial events on campus, she will be, “the perfect person to have your voice heard and make it the best second semester.”  She hopes to lead and accomplish well-rounded committees and student body, as well as representation in the athletics department, clubs, and all things on campus.
